It’s starting to be chilly at night now, and sitting in my computer room, it’s nice to turn to the side, push one button and get just that extra bit of warmth that says “safe… secure…” to me…

I don’t know whether the cats are getting tired of running away every time they see me, camera in hand, or whether perhaps they’re getting used to it. But here’s  Clancy — two cats in two days!

I don’t often get to catch either of the cats standing still. Ciara in particular is constantly in motion. So it’s always a pleasure when I can get a halfway decent photo of her. Here she is at the top of the stairs:

Today was the last really nice day we can expect here in late October. The weather was gorgeous Tuesday, Wednesday and today — temps well into the 70s and plenty of sunshine. But there’s a front due in with lots of rain, so… it was a matter of getting out when the getting was good. And I was able to get two views of a pond I pass to and from the organic farm.

Clandy was Not Amused tonight when there was a slight delay in his dinner… I was getting the dinner dishes ready for the cats, and I spotted him staring at his dish. So I went and got the camera — he certainly was focused…
