One of my favorite things at Disney is the Lights Motors Action stunt show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I can’t imagine doing this particular stunt on a very sunny afternoon in, say, August…

Hot head... and everything else!

And this time I managed to get a shot of one of the stunt men who “fell” from a building after being “shot”:

This year marks the 60th birthday of my sister Diana, and what she really wanted for her birthday was a trip to Disney World. Who am I to argue? (I love the place.) Off we went, and ran into this little guy — Thumper??? — on arrival.

Heading out of Newark just as the sun was setting tonight. Stopped at the light 0n Broad Street at Raymond Boulevard, glanced to my left… and grabbed for the camera.

Some backyard beasties are very polite, like this tufted titmouse taking one sunflower seed at a time…

If there is anything that says, for sure, that spring is here, it’s not flowers, not warm breezes, not April rains. It’s BASEBALL!! Even college baseball, played in a minor league stadium…

Not sure exactly what had this little robin entangled — some sort of mesh, string, easter basket “grass” — but it was so distressing to see her tied up like this. Fortunately, by the end of the day, she had managed to get one leg completely free and that gave me hope she’d eventually manage to get herself out of the tangle entirely.

But it sure makes you stop and think about what you’re throwing away — and how you do it — when you see a poor thing like this…

I have been trying to get a good picture of this redwinged blackbird for days. Today he decided to stop and pose for me for a while!

This weekend was more than just checking out NYU where my niece Rose has been admitted for the Class of 2013. She, her mother (my sister) Kacy and I also had tickets for Hair on Friday night and Shrek on Saturday afternoon. Hair is my generation — powerful and emotional still. Shrek was just plain fun. And, no matter what, Broadway is one of my favoritest places in the world…

My one regret is not getting a picture of Rose heading off down Broadway with her cousin Brian Robertson (an NYU graduate) … not to mention not getting a picture of Kacy and Rose dancing on stage at the end of Hair
