We left the Chena Hot Springs Resort in the very early morning hours on the 21st — the van pulled out just after 3 a.m.

Thursday, March 19th, 2009We rode into Fairbanks on Thursday the 19th to see the Museum of the North at the University of Alaska at Fairbanks and to see the International Ice Sculpture championships. We saw the museum, all right, with a visitor across the parking lot that wasn’t quite what you’d expect on a college campus:
